I like telling stories through images and/or words. Surreal imagery and dreams are important to me and I like to see what they can reveal. The myth of Eve and the serpent has always fascinated me, and I keep looking for new ways to interpret this story. When I draw, I like using a lot of details. I think of the page as a nonlinear storyboard, with no guidelines for where to go and—hopefully—lots to discover. When I paint, I am a little obsessed with swirling lines. I do love lines. I like using pen and ink, gouache, and watercolor.
